Be sure to present your materials in a organized way. A good order for the pieces of your project display is as follows: Question, Background Info, Hypothesis, Experiment, Materials, Procedure, Results, Data, Conclusion(s). |
Be sure to include a graph or chart (data) of the results of the experiment. This will help you present your findings in an organized way. Make sure you use the correct kind of graph for your chart. To represent change use a line graph, to represent differance, use a bar graph, to compare numbers, use a pie graph, ect.
Be sure to pick a display board that goes with the items that you will attach. You don't want your board to be too big or too small for the amount of information you have.
It is a good idea to include a sample of some material used in your experiment in your display. These are traditionaly called artifacts. Some examples of artifacts are as follows: photographs, materials, ending result, ect. |
| |
Make sure the pieces of your display are well alligned and not staggerd all over the board. Display is one of the most important parts of your science project. If your project does not look good and professional, people will not want to read it. |
